Music.
It’s what helps separate a teenager from the world in their head and what’s real. It plays a big role in a person’s life. Between all the different genres and lyrics, you really can’t go wrong with it. In the hallways between classes (and even during classes) kids are always blaring their favorite music. I guess that’s because most of us would rather spend six hours a day listening to what we think is useful, rather than sitting in a room trying to ignore the teachers lecture.
On Oct. 24, his 25th birthday, Drake a.k.a “Drizzy”, will release Take Care, the follow-up to his debut album, the often irritating, but generally liked Thank Me Later.
Drake revealed the title of his next album, saying the title was partly inspired by a close friend of many years, Gabriel Akon. In comparison to his past albums, Drake told Y.C radio that “Thank Me Later,” was a rushed album, stating “I didn’t get to take the time I wanted to on that record. Once it was done, it was done. That’s why my new album is called ‘Take Care’ because I get to take my time this round.” (923now.radio.com)
Throughout the year, Drake has been sharing songs through his blog, like “Marvin’s Room” and “Headlines,” both of which have been guaranteed to appear on Take Care.
On June 9, 2011, Drake’s second track “Marvin’s Room,” was released via his blog, and it was originally stated that the song would not be on his new album, “Take Care.” Because of the song’s unexpected success, being released as a digital and radio single on July 22, 2011, it will be featured on “Take Care.”
According to Entertainment Weekly, Drake says he’s “at a great place” and has a ton of recorded music to select from.
