As the MHS homecoming game is approaching, the football team practices each and every day so that the team is guaranteed to win against Ann Arbor Pioneer this Friday.
Senior Beau Massingill said that the way they prepare themselves is by working hard and staying focused in practice and watching the other team’s plays on the app called “Hudle.”
Beau also said that Pioneer is not as good as Saline, who they lost to last week, so they have a good chance at winning.
Coach Clark, said that the football team played Ann Arbor Pioneer and Monroe beat them last year. At this year’s homecoming game, the MHS football team is guaranteed to win, said Clark.
Junior Donovan King said that when they graduate high school, they’re looking forward to go to a good college for football.
“I really love spending time on the field and in the weight room; it helps to keep my mind off things,” King said.
