Although most days, senior Jeff Copi can be found on the running at the track, he took time out as a candidate for this year’s homecoming court.
Copi said he goes to track in Ann Arbor three days a week. He said he is really determined to go to a Division 1 school.
Copi said that homecoming is a lot of work when you are on court, especially because he is so busy.
“There is a lots of stuff to do on homecoming court,” Copi said.
One of the things the candidates have to do is prepare a skit. Copi said his skit will have a lot of dancing and flipping.
Copi said he doesn’t really feel that there is competition; its just having fun with friends. He does say he feels a little bit of pressure.
“The girl side has a lot of competition,” he added.
He also said the votes will be real close, but he still doesn’t know how to run his campaign. He said the guys on homecoming court are putting up signs for their campaigns,
Copi said homecoming court will try their best to make this homecoming amazing. He said hopes it isn’t a disaster like last year when someone broke there leg and the school had to end the dance early.
“This homecoming will be better than the years before,” Copi said.
