Being a part of a team has been something sophomore Beau Massingill has always enjoyed. This past football season has been Massingill’s favorite because he feels his team has grown closer together as a family. He looks forward to senior year and what his team will become.
Football isn’t the only thing to which Massingill, who is the son of MHS staff member, Tammy Massingill, has been committed. He’s also involved with Student Council and Trojan Impact Club.
“I like to keep myself busy,” said Massingill. “I like being involved with the school.”
Making memories and getting tangled up between clubs is something Massingill thrives on.
“My most memorable moment is definitely playing badminton in gym class… it gets intense.”
When Massingill isn’t at a mandatory practice, in his free time he still enjoys playing football and racket ball with his friends and brother.
“I love being a twin, I always have someone to hangout and just chill with… he’s definitely my best friend. My brother knows me better than anyone,” Massingill said.
Being only in his sophomore year of high school, Massingill hasn’t thought much about his plans after graduation. Having a set plan on what he wants to do and who he wants to be in the future isn’t a priority right now. He considers himself a very “live-in-the-moment” kind of person.
“I like to just go with the flow. After all, life’s like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re going to get,” said Massingill. “I just want to live the bachelor life.”
