Blake Griffin, number 32 from the Los Angeles Clippers, was recently suspended for four to six weeks for punching team employee Matias Testi. The two were friends at the time, so the altercation seemed odd and the reasoning for the incident has not yet been released to the public.

Not only was Griffin just suspended, but he was already previously out for four to six weeks due to a quadriceps injury that happened in December. Griffin is a loved teammate by the Clippers and fans are going insane waiting for the final say of Griffin’s fate on the team. The power forward is anxiously waiting to hear back the results, and the team is hoping Testi will be able to join the team once again and continue his managing duties.

What his coach and teammates say on the matter is almost concerning. “It’s over with as far as we’re concerned,” coach Doc Rivers said in interview on ESPN. “The only thing is, we have to get the punishment from the league and see where we’re going. Other than that, we’re good”Rivers also stated. “It’s going to be healed,” he said. “It’s going to be OK.”

The Clippers currently have the longest winning streak in the NBA league, with nine straight wins, even without Griffin. Not only do they have the longest streak in the league, but they are also the No.4 seed in the NBA League as well (CBSSports.com).

The team has been straying Griffin away from social media and networking for as long as possible until he is ready to face the world after his foolish actions. The NBA has seen similar cases throughout the leagues’ history, so to see the frustration and physical conduct was not new to the associates (latimes.com). They believe Griffin may have some disciplinary issues and will continue with the investigation until the case is fully solved and taken care of.
