Drummond proves unexpected savor for Pistons

Andre Drummond, the Center for the Detroit Pistons had been tearing it up this season. Nobody expected Andre to average almost 20 points and 20 rebound a game; nobody expected the Pistons to be 5-2 in the first 7 games. Everybody thought that the Pistons would just be a mediocre team, but look at them now.

The Pistons are exceeding many people’s expectations mainly due to the spark from the big man on the team, Andre Drummond. He has had three 20/20 games this season meaning that he had 20 or more points and rebounds in a game. He is the only person this year to do so, and he has done it three times. Expect big things from him this year.

This man can be very beneficial  this year for any of you fantasy basketball players this season. If he keeps the pace that he is going through, he can earn you big bucks. He right now is averaging 19 points and rebounds a game. Those stats remind me of Wilt Chamberlain, one of the best centers to ever play the game.

After this season, Andre is a free agent so you can might expect him to get paid a lot of money after this year. Although rumor has it that he is going to stay with the Pistons and accept low pay so that the team can get a good player and win a championship according to bleacherreport.com, similar to the San Antonio spurs with how they handled Kawhi Leonard. The Spurs smartly kept his small cap hold on the books for as long as possible, which allowed them to sign Lamarcus Aldridge in free agency and go over the cap to re-sign Leonard. If they do so with Andre, expect the Pistons to be great the following years.
